Description
R-PUR becomes the official distributor of the Hale by the brand Airinum.
New baby bedroom furniture can release volatile organic compounds, particularly formaldehyde, for several weeks after being installed. Yet, a newborn can spend up to 16 hours a day in this room and breathes up to three times faster than an adult.
A classic air purifier stays in one place. The Hale Baby, however, goes everywhere with your baby. Thanks to the included Hale Mount, it attaches directly to the stroller to direct purified air towards your baby. It can also be installed near the crib, placed in the car, or easily slipped into a travel bag.
True HEPA filtration. Zero ozone. No ionizer. Ultra-quiet from 33.7 dB(A). Up to 24 hours of battery life.

The importance of air for your baby
Lungs still in development
A baby's lungs are still forming, and they breathe proportionally more air than you do for their size. Fine particles (PM2.5) are the ones that penetrate most deeply into these developing lungs.
Up to 3 times faster
An infant breathes 40 to 60 times per minute, up to three times faster than an adult. Therefore, every particle present in the air passes through their lungs at a much higher rate than through yours.
A nursery is not healthy by default
New composite wood furniture, paint, and glues release volatile organic compounds, including formaldehyde, for weeks after they are installed. And this is the room where your baby sleeps 16 hours a day.
Breathing at exhaust level
In a stroller, your baby breathes much closer to the road than you do, right at the level of exhaust pipes, where traffic-related pollution is most concentrated. Attached directly to the handlebar, the Hale Baby directs purified air toward your baby's breathing zone, on every walk.
A zone of pure air that follows your baby
Wherever your baby breathes, Hale Baby is there.
It is designed to purify the air in your baby’s immediate personal space, not just in the room: on the stroller, near the crib, in the car.
Babies breathe differently, and the air they breathe deserves more attention.
Healthier air for your baby
We are convinced that every baby should be able to breathe healthier air, from their very first months.
Hale Baby combines a high-performance HEPA filtration system, which captures fine particles down to 0.3 µm such as pollen, dust mites, or pet dander, with an activated carbon layer that traps gases and odors, including VOCs and formaldehyde released by new furniture and paint.
Attached to a stroller or placed near a crib, it helps limit your baby's exposure to common allergens and pollutants, exactly where they breathe: on walks, in their room, or in the car.

Designed for your baby
Zero ozone, zero ionizer
The Hale Baby uses only mechanical filtration: it produces no ozone or chemical residue, an essential criterion for a baby's room.
Quiet from 33.7 dB(A)
Between a whisper and the quiet of a library, it accompanies naps and nights without disturbing them.
Designed for the stroller
Thanks to the included Hale Mount, it attaches to the handlebar and directs purified air toward your baby, with up to 24 hours of battery life via USB-C.
Smart filter sensor
A red light turns on when the filter reaches the end of its life, after approximately 500 hours. No app or subscription required.

What moms are saying about this baby air purifier
Write a review
My son developed infant asthma, which made his days difficult. We were lucky enough to take advantage of a launch offer to test the baby air purifier, and it has changed his life. Stroller outings are much more pleasant on the way to the park, and we also keep it in his room, directed toward his crib.
We live in Paris, and our main concern for our baby was air pollution. When we saw that even schools are affected by air quality issues, we looked for a solution and came across this purifier. Easy to install on our Cybex, it also kept it cool as a bonus this summer. Thank you for this great product, which should appeal to many parents.
Our daughter was having some trouble sleeping and often had a stuffy nose. We live near a busy road. Our pediatrician advised us to regularly purify our home, but it was difficult to do the entire apartment. The Hale Baby allows us to place it near our daughter when she plays or goes to bed. The episodes have decreased significantly following this change, and we are relieved. The product is very high quality and durable.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Hale purifier?
Hale Baby is an air purifier for babies that combines filtration and ventilation to improve the air quality around your baby.
Compact and portable, and adaptable to strollers, it goes with your child at home, at the office, in the car, or while on the go.
Is Hale Baby safe for newborns?
Yes. The Hale Baby uses only mechanical HEPA filtration: no ionizers, no UV lamps, no ozone-generating technology.
Pediatric health organizations specifically recommend HEPA purifiers without ozone or ionizers for use in rooms occupied by infants.
The Hale Baby meets this standard. Its lowest operating noise level, 33.7 dB(A), is safe for sleeping environments, and it produces no chemical by-products of any kind.
Does it produce ozone?
No. The Hale Baby produces absolutely no ozone. It does not have an ionizer or a UV lamp.
It is a purely mechanical filtration device.
The EPA identifies ozone-generating air purifiers as lung irritants, and the Hale Baby is not one of them.
This is the most important safety criterion for any air purifier intended for infants, and the Hale Baby meets it without any ambiguity.
Where should I place it in the baby's room?
Place the Hale Baby 30 to 50 cm away from your baby's breathing zone: on the edge of the crib, on a bedside table at the same height as the crib, or on a dresser facing the sleeping area.
Avoid placing it inside the crib or within the baby's reach. The adjustable stand allows you to angle the outlet grille toward the mattress level, where your baby is actually breathing.
Do not place it behind furniture or in a corner: it works best with unobstructed airflow around the intake (base) and the output (top grille).
Can I use it in the stroller or the car?
Yes, that is what sets the Hale Baby apart. The included Hale mount attaches it directly to the stroller handlebar and directs purified air toward your baby.
Avoid the stroller cup holder: the airflow would be directed away from your baby. In the car, it sits on the center console or on the back seat, next to the car seat. It runs on its internal battery for up to 24 hours and can also be powered via USB-C from a car USB port or a power bank.
Most stationary air purifiers for nurseries cannot do any of this.
Is the Hale suitable for use while my baby is sleeping?
The Hale Baby operates from 33.7 dB(A) on its lowest setting, quieter than a library (about 40 dB) and comparable to a soft whisper.
At this level, the gentle, constant airflow acts as a light white noise that many parents appreciate. On its highest setting (Level 7), it reaches 50.8 dB(A), which is similar to a quiet conversation.
For sleep, level 1 is the recommended setting.
What does the Hale Baby filter?
The HEPA layer captures ≥99% of airborne particles as small as 0.3 µm, including fine particles (PM2.5), pollen, dust mites, pet dander, mold spores, and bacteria.
The activated carbon layer adsorbs gases and VOCs: formaldehyde from new furniture and paint, benzene, cooking odors, and other chemical emissions. Together, the two layers address both particle and gas-related threats most relevant to a newborn's bedroom.
How often should I replace the filter?
The filter lasts for approximately 500 hours of use. The smart sensor monitors usage and flashes red when it is time to replace it, so you don't have to keep track of anything.
With typical use in a nursery (12 to 16 hours per day), this corresponds to a replacement every one to two months approximately. Replacement filters are available separately.
Is HEPA filtration sufficient for a baby? What about formaldehyde?
HEPA filtration is the gold standard recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics for reducing airborne particles indoors, and the AAP confirms that it can reduce PM levels by 25 to 50% in a room.
For formaldehyde and other VOCs in particular, the activated carbon layer offers additional protection by adsorbing gaseous molecules that the HEPA filter alone cannot capture.
No portable purifier eliminates all formaldehyde: the most effective strategy is source control (choosing low-VOC furniture, ventilating the nursery before the baby arrives, letting new items air out before assembly).
The Hale Baby acts as a second, continuous line of defense, capturing what new materials and daily activities release into the air your baby breathes.
