Description
Whether you log road miles in downtown traffic, train on congested urban loops, or head out at dawn when air quality is poor, the R-PUR Running-Pollution Mask is built for performance and protection. Its multi-layer nano filter is designed to block the contaminants most runners inhale fine particulates from vehicle exhaust, industrial emissions, and urban pollen bursts. The lightweight shell and adjustable strap system ensure a firm, comfortable seal, letting you focus on your stride, not what you’re breathing.

Why this is the best mask for running in polluted air ? 🏃🏼
-
✓ High-grade filtration
The nano media is engineered to perform at FFP3+ / N100+ levels, capturing ~0.3 µm particles and many ultrafines down to ~50 nm.
-
✓ Comfort all the way
Low breathing resistance, soft fabrics, anti-fog airflow keep your glasses clear and let you focus on pace not mask drag
-
✓ Secure, adjustable seal for real runs
A one-size adjustable system ensures a snug seal that holds during sprints, turns, and urban stops. Good fit means real-world protection when you need it most.

Ultra-efficient running-pollution filtration
Our patented nano-filtration is engineered to target challenging particle sizes (~0.3 µm) and capture ultrafine ~50 nm particles in lab testing.
What this means in real-world runs:
- Fine particles from traffic, buses, heavy-vehicle exhaust in urban loops
- Seasonally high pollen and dust stirred up by wind or city construction
- Urban air pollution when you head out early or hit congested roads
- Nuisance odors and gases thanks to the built-in activated-carbon layer
Regular dust masks stop larger particles; the R-PUR Running-Pollution Mask goes further to reduce exposure to invisible irritants that can affect lung performance and recovery.
What our customers say about our running pollution mask
Write a review
Pretty good. Stays securely on the head, both for running (twice a week) and cycling (every day of the week). I recommend it. And the customer service is fast.
Very good product, breathable during cycling or running, I regret that there is no filter recycling process.
Super breathable! I use it for running and I can finally run in the city without coughing after every workout. Thanks again to the team, they are very responsive!
I've been using my mask for 3 months to prepare for a trail run. It allowed me to significantly reduce my attacks due to my respiratory allergies! I highly recommend the use of R-PUR masks.
Having run around Paris (Montmartre) for years, I'd gotten used to the exhaust fumes. Well done, R-PUR, I can now go out without worry. I don't know if it has a measurable impact on my stamina, but I feel better when I get home, thank you!

Frequently Asked Questions about our Running Mask
Does this mask meet FFP3 / N100 standards?
In terms of lab performance, yes it targets FFP3+ / N100+ levels by capturing ~0.3 µm and ultrafines down to ~50 nm.
Will it fog my running sunglasses?
No, the airflow path and nose-seal help minimise upward leakage, so runners report clear vision even at faster paces.
Does it help with odors/pollution on my route?
Yes, the activated-carbon layer reduces exposure to exhaust fumes and unpleasant smells. Your experience will improve compared to no mask or basic dust mask.
How many filters should I carry or replace?
For regular urban training, consider replacing every 6–12 weeks depending on air quality and usage. Bring a spare if you train heavily or travel.
Can I wash it?
Yes. Wash the shell by hand or gentle machine cycle (30-40 °C). Do not wash the filter, replace it when breathing resistance increases.
Is it only for road running?
No. Works for treadmill, track, trail, urban loops wherever air is compromised by traffic, dust or stagnant conditions. We also have the following masks:
- Cycling mask
- Motorcycle mask
- Pollen mask
- Allergy mask
- Travel mask
- Sport shooting mask
Does the mask get hot or cause condensation?
No: the valve vents hot air and reduces perspiration. In hot weather, slightly loosen the top of the mask and wash it regularly to prevent irritation.
Does the mask stay in place well during interval training or trail running?
Yes. Its 360° airtight structure and adjustable straps guarantee perfect support, even at high speeds or on technical descents.
What is the difference between the masks?
All the masks presented here are part of the same R-PUR Nano range.
The Nano Light is our versatile model, ideal for cycling, running, allergies, travel, or shooting sports. It offers the same FFP3+ filtration, the same breathing comfort, and smooth breathing in all situations.
The Nano One is designed specifically for motorcycles and scooters. Its thicker Thermo Control fabric protects against cold, wind, and high speeds, while retaining the same advanced filtration technology.
👉 All our masks use the Nano R-PUR filter, patented and certified to block fine particles, gases, and odors.
